My Comeback Story
Hi, I’m Lisa Jean Fell — a woman who’s lived through her own plot twists… and chose to rewrite the ending.
There was a moment I sat in my car — heartbroken and at an absolute loss. My second long-term relationship, to my fiance had just ended. I had no where to call home — just a packed car, 3 friends offering a couch or a spare bed, and a heartful of questions. How did I get here? I sold my home for love, and 4 years later, the housing market had inflated, leaving me without a place to raise my kids — and uncertain if I’d ever be able to buy back in.
Sitting in my car with no where to go, I put on one breakup song — because isn’t that what we’re supposed to do? And I completely fell apart. In that moment, I realized I couldn’t stay in a place of sadness and defeat. I needed to listen to love songs - because love songs gave me hope. Hope that one day, I’d fall in love with the right partner and somehow that simple choice changed everything.
That season of my life became the foundation for my coaching. I learned that courage isn’t built in comfort — it’s built when everything feels like you have nothing left but your will to survive. And now I help other women create their legacy from the strength they didn’t know they have.
Every setback Became a Stepping Stone
After eight months and four days without a place to call home, I finally bought back into the housing market. I would continue to live within my means, on my terms, and build something solid — not just financially, but personally. I didn’t just want stability. I wanted relentless growth.
That season of my life had stripped everything back to the essentials. I realized if I wanted to rebuild my life, I had to start with me. So I enrolled in the Heroic Coaching Program with Brian Johnson— not because I wanted to become a coach, but because I wanted to become the best version of myself.
At first, I thought I could simply coach myself. But somewhere along the way, something shifted. As I earned my certification, I realized that I didn’t just love being Client Zero — I loved sharing the tools, the mindset, and the daily practices that helped me reclaim my life. I want others to feel the same strength, clarity, and self-love that comes from Strengthening your mindset, elevating your self-worth, and breaking free from your limiting beliefs.
That’s when I knew it wasn’t just my comeback story. It was the moment my comeback became the catalyst to help others rewrite their own legacy.
My story isn’t a straight line - it’s a series of choices, setbacks, and moments of courage that shaped who I am today.
*As a little girl: I failed grade one. That early setback planted a seed of doubt -but it also planted resilience.
*In grade seven: I lost 40 pounds, proving to myself that change is possible with determination meets discipline.
*As an adult: I poured my self into my marriages and relationships, often losing my own voice in the process.
*I lost everything: I became homeless and lived out of my car for eight months and four days. It was the most challenging chapter of my life - but it also became the beginning of my comeback.
*I rebuilt: I bought back into the housing market, became an empowerment coach and reclaimed my financial footing - and my sense of worth.
*And then I went all in: I faced my fear and jumped off a bridge - literally. Bungee jumping reminded me that courage is a muscle. The more we use it, the stronger it gets.
Today, every piece of my story is part of the foundation I stand on. I coach woman not from just from theory - but from lived experience. I’ve felt the weight of starting over - and the freedom that comes after.
Why I Coach
Those inner voice questions - “How did this happen? How did I end up here?” — became the spark for my own comeback.
In that eight months four day season, self-doubt was loud. I questioned my worth, my choices, and my strength. I didn’t have a roadmap, so I became my own first client. I used every tool, reflection, and mindset shift I now teach to rebuild my confidence, my standards, and my life — from the inside out.
I didn’t start out as a coach — I started as a woman trying to find her way back to herself.
Today, I help people break free from self - doubt, heal old patterns, and rebuild the confidence to create relationships - with themselves and others - that truly last. I know what it’s like to lose almost everything, to question everything, and to emerge stronger. I don’t just coach the work - I’ve lived it.
